SCHOOL REGISTRATION FOR 2012 - 2013
Pre-Registration for 2012/2013 closed MARCH 9, 2012 but Registrations will still be accepted until June 28, 2012.  The next open registration period will be Tuesday, August 28th, Wednesday, August 29th , and Thursday, August 30th, 2012.

NOTE:  The priorities for accepting students into a particular school have been established by the Board of Education in Board Policy 405R – Student Placement (Regulations) – see SD23 website (www.sd23.bc.ca).  These priorities remain in effect until the close of registration on August 30, 2012.  After that date, schools may accept ‘out-of-catchment’ students, space permitting.

New Ministry Requirements for Proof of Residency of Parents/Guardians - All student files must now contain proof that the parent/guardian is ordinarily resident in British Columbia to be eligible for provincial funding. Please note:  This does not apply to our International Education fee-paying students who have already provided the sufficient documentation to the School District in order to attend a school in British Columbia.

Glenrosa Middle School E-Mail System

We would like to welcome parents to join the Glenrosa Middle e-mail list. If you are currently a member of our e-mail list, please update your student's information by clicking on the link to update information, indicating the grade your student will be in as some e-mails are sent only to the grade the message is tailored for.

GMS uses our e-mail system frequently to communicate with our parents/guardians regarding upcoming events, reminders of important dates, any new information that may need to be provided to you and send out our monthly newsletters. School Supplies for Students at GMS
Students will be expected to supply the following basics:
  • 2 large 3-ring binders that zip closed, with dividers
  • Lined and unlined paper
  • Pens, pencils, ruler, eraser, geometry set
  • Highlighter, pencil crayons or felts
Individual classroom teachers may request specialty items, however, sufficient warning will be given to allow students time to locate these items.
